Anyone done/think it's worth it to also put material (polyfill batting, not dynamat) inside the enclosure?

I did this yesterday, took all of 40 minutes. Thanks OP for sharing this idea.

I don't know what improvements it made just yet, I will know once I have more seat time. However, I am not an audiophile and typically cannot tell the difference between slight changes in audio quality.

You have a 2017, right? If you find this hasn’t done it for you, see http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f266/added-sub-52819/?highlight=added

I don’t remember hearing that swapping out the sub or putting it through an amp would disable noise cancellation and I don’t think it does.

sub + amp was first for me. next was speakers and dynamat. Next was for scan and then I turned off the enhanced exhaust, and as a result ANC.

I know there was an effect because the level of sound in the truck went down, but, you could pick up on more faint, white noise(?) stuff like loose change jingling in the console once in a while, whirrs and whines at a very low low level that you can only hear with the radio and fan off, with windows up.

I find the cab definitely quieter without the enhanced exhaust noise, but that youtube video scared me off of this mod for a while. Once I had for scan capability, I figured I’d have a go and if it wasn’t for me I’d put it back.

All of you that cancelled ANC say this thing that makes no sense to me. Car is either quieter or its not. It cannot be quieter and yet you can hear other noises that you didn't hear before. That means its not quieter!

I trust Ford engineers to know a bit more about sound engineering than enthusiasts with forscan (me included). I am super happy with the highway legs of this car and its low NVH and happy to leave it as it is.

I'm curious it anything is under that carpeted panel on the back of the cab? If it's just metal, adding Dynamat there would help. I had a Tremor and did the entire back part of the cab. Made a huge difference.
