Just as an FYI..... I attempted a retrofit on my previous 2008 F150. I'd consider myself a pretty capable guy in the DIY department. The job did not go well. It went so poorly, in fact, that I ended up buying a new set of aftermarket projector headlights to replace my slightly melted and thoroughly carved up OEM's.

That's why I was asking what his budget is. You can piece together a set of OEM HIDs for under $800 using OEM parts off eBay.

I don't have a set budget it's more of a not wanting to spend $1100 on tomething i can get pieces for and do for $300-400.
I probably won't do it all myself I have a buddy here thats done a few headlights, minor jobs, and a decent amount of custom work and have him give me a hand.
