DIY Oil Change on Raptor R

I hear ya. The $50 “The Works” oil and rotation doesn’t apply to the R.

11.5 qt full synthetic. It’s not much cheaper on Amazon either, I think $155. Filter is $35-40. So you’re not really coming out ahead much by doing it yourself.

And there are no deals to be had at any dealership. They all have the same price. They do have some ‘’coupons’’ but you don’t get and deal. It’s just their way of saying they can do an oil change. Plus all the coupons only go up to 6 quarts of synthetic blend oil. The R takes 11.5 full Synthetic 5-50 and that costs almost 17.00 per quart. They want 250.00 to perform ‘’The Works’’ , which includes oil service, tire rotation and basic check of the systems.

Get the maintenance plan when u buy it. I got a 10 year plan (5k) oil changes for $1500. That pays for the oil changes for cheaper than I could do it myself PLUS all the other maintenance things brakes, wiper blades, all fluids, lights...
