The hood and fenders are composite...no metal need be touched. Wiz has some pictures on his thread of opening the vents a bit as well as backlighting the louvers. You can cut out the area behind the SVT side vents and place a piece of red or amber or blue or....translucent plastic and some LED's behind in the fender for an even better bling...
And no worries about rust! (I'd seal the edges to keep water from working it's way into the composite and freezing in the winter...)
