This is for those who wish to remove their cab in order to perform maintenance or add other components that are harder to do when the cab is on. This is a good video to show how to the process needs to be done. It is not a Raptor but it is a Gen 13 body and most of the steps are the same.
Make sure to like the video and support this guy as it was the starting point I used for the cab off project.
Now what are the major difference from the video and the Raptor?
1. If you have any auxiliary switches wired up, you will need to cut these and re-solider them when you do the install.
2. Body bolt issue
a. If you offroad your Raptor in any shape the body bolts will be a pain.
b. The issue is the lock tab that Ford uses will shake loose from either big jump or offroad rattling on trails. This means when you try to remove the cab the bolt will just SPIN! I will update how to fix this when i do reinstall. 4 of the 8 bolts I had to remove I cut as easier to deal with after cab off.
c. You will need to cut small hole in the cab in order to access these lock tabs to get a socket on them. This is a horrible design like 90% of the stupid things on the truck.
