I actually think the XL80 look more proportional to the Rap.

You wont regret the XL80's.

I like them more than my 4 lp6's combined with a 20 inch Onx bar.
I run them on my A pillar with a driving combo lens with no glare.

You can also pair them with S1's to cover the sides and have a better wider spread.

I think the XL80 are perfect. I ran Squadrons on my other truck. Started off with XL Pros on the Gen2 Raptor, but then decided to go with XL80. Very happy.

Does the light behind the grill put out a decent amount of light?

It does put out quite a bit but that's actually the rough country kit though.
