Disabling sync controls while driving

I have a 2010 with the sync nav system. Is there a way to shut off the safety feature that doesn't allow you to do things while driving?

Dang thought it would be just clipping a wire to disable the feature. Kind of pricey just to watch a movie on the. Thanks!

I bought this truck used this last weekend and it has an aftermarket license plate camera. Would I already be set up with this equip since it wasnt a factory camera?

Yes the back up camera works. The power is hooked up to my first aux switch for some reason.

video in motion and unlock nav would work, but not having the tailgate camera present, i can not be certain of the features available.

unfortunately, without seeing the truck for myself, i can not be certain of the wiring that has been done to your vehicle
