Ok so now for a long recap now that I have decent wireless service and some time to sit down and think this out.
Dirty Dozen Day 1:
After a great dinner, lots of conversations and the pre run activities with @
bigred1097 and myself it was defiantly time to get some sleep for a 7:30AM start.
On this day my truck covered 247.4 miles most of it offroad. I think most of the trucks that did not go on the night run inspired by BigRed and myself covered about 200 Miles. The trip took us thru the gate to the North Maine woods and over to the abandoned train for lunch. It took some time during the morning for the group to get their bering with the gravel on some of the roads giving us pure white out conditions and learn how much spacing was appropriate to not get off course. The trails/roads where nice and fun to drift and play around on as long as you could see. After lunch it was on to the Red River Camps. At this point the group re shuffled and became much more cohesive when spacing out allowing everyone the best chance at clear vision. But this did spread the group out to about 13 miles between the lead truck and chase. This did cause some communication issues that did get solved with people relaying for the group. My personal highlight for me was, noticing a missed turn and then going out to chase down the trucks off course. My hat goes off to @
mouldman1, he was the last truck to chase down and he can drive., I had a blast chasing him down. Once everyone was back chase and lead resumed the group. The 8 mile trail back to the camp I ran with @
mouldman1 and again had a blast going down this trail concluding at the campsite. This camp site was much different than I expected. In my mind for the better. My normal internet laden tools of my trade and leashes where completely useless ther. And there was an awesome turkey dinner. What is a run with some night raptors and no night run? So some decided to go out and look for moose and bears. We had success and lit up the area successfully.
I have these pics from the motel on the brisk morning that we started. I am looking for other pics. I know I have a few on the camera that I will add.

Dirty Dozen day 2:
The second day started off much wetter and slicker than day 1 due to the overnight rain. This did help our visibility issues tremendously but also made the trail out a bit more slippery but was fun fun fun. Then we got to gas up and play a bit of bumper trucks. Lots of ribbing proceeded from there. Then we got to the best trail of the event. Once out of site BigT let myself and Witchy lead since we had it up on motionX and shortly there after @
mouldman1 behind me. This trail was spirited and a blast. Witchy was calling out hazards and other fun items for the group. Then at some point I sliced a tire and had to do the 3rd tire maintenance of the run. After all the help and replacement of the tire it was on the the airstrip for pictures and to the checkpoint for lunch and pictures. Witchy did a good job of directing pictures in both places, lol. After lunch the fun continued under BigT's lead. More glorious trails and lots of fun had by all. Then close to the end we had a 4th tire issue that was quickly dealt with by our trusty chase BigRed. While the tire was being changed some of the locals had heard about all of the raptors that came through the gate and decided to bring one of the children over that had some medical issues to view his favorite trucks. BigT was awesome and gave him a shirt and then there was an offer to go for a ride. I jumped at the chance to take the child and his grandmother for a quick ride back up the trail. They both had a blast. This was the highlight of my day to see the expressions on there faces after a ride. I still smile thinking about it. The day ended with a wonderful meal and plenty of drink by the Bonfire. 157 miles covered and endless smiles.
Dirty Dozen end convoy back to Mass.
Another very long day of pavement. Interesting that the nave had my speed limit at 74mph. But the signs read 75. Awesome interstate and road.
Breakfast.
Trip to cranberry township:
We decided to go over to Niagara Falls on our way to Cranberry. It was well worth the side trip and provided a nice break in the middle of the drive.
614.8 miles.
