Tired of dealing with the Ford garage BS about the remote plus I'm a bit concerned the techs may not real savvy on installing them since the service writers tell customers to go to an aftermarket company. Last thing I need is someone who doesn't really know what they're doing hacking into my wiring harness. I had to have the Ford one priced out twice too because they didn't include all the parts needed...which they only realized because I questioned them. I know the Viper installer well and he's worked on my last 4-5 cars so the truck is going to him too. I think in the long wrong I'd probably have more issues with a poorly installed Ford start than a well installed Viper and the warranty ***** already made it clear she would not consider the Ford remote any differently than an aftermarket one so any issues I run into could really cost me.
Plus Raptor Girl messaged me and said the Ford start she hasn't isn't very good. She had recommended a different aftermarket brand tho I'm not familiar with and didn't see vendors for around me. All signs just seem to be pointing away from the Ford start at this point.
