Phew! My remote start is getting installed tomorrow. I overlooked this issue so really glad you chimed in about the Airaid!

Maybe I'm not in the know here but .... Why the hell would changing the air intake have anything to with the remote start????

I think the issue with Volant's and the remote start had to do with a switch that is located near the coolant res......and seeing as how the Volant replaces the coolant res with it's own, it interfered with the switch.

Did you go with the Ford Remote Start, or the Viper? I really want to add one as well, not sure which route to take though.

The volant will interfere, BUT Iceman302 found a way to relocate the switch in his intake thread. Just search volant and its one of his threads unless he chimes in here.
