Granted, I’m weird. And I’ve only had it for a few days. I’ve had the canister type before and the hard rollback kind. Both of those give unfettered access to the bed. Yes the canister takes up room, some more than others.
I always liked a flush cover. That said, I decided on my new truck to get a so-called real cover, a manly cover. I can use help in that department.
no doubt it’s stout. No doubt with the extra gasket on bed rail near window it will be waterproof. No doubt it’s a strong sucker. Locks are probably the best.
the hinges are half baked, slightly askew and ugly.
I got the smooth finish and like it.
got the SE cover as I’ll never put anything super heavy up on it.
So far, a solid B, being generous a B+.
Bed access at the tailgate end, a B.
Bed access, and my main complaint, at the cab end, a solid F.
maybe I should have realized that. But I think I consumed, as I always do, at least 20 or more YouTube videos on it and close to every thread here. Bed access was not really covered to any great extent.
