Edit can you open the tailgate with the 1up installed? With the Thule I can drop the rack with two bikes installed and open the tail gate
Pull the lever and the rack tips. Probably less then 10-15lbs of effort. Your not lifting the whole rack back up. Your bike can act like a lever arm to minimize effort.28 lb of rack plus two 30 lb bikes = 90 lbs of shit my back doesn't want to lift. Still easier to remove a single bike to access the tailgate. 1up system makes it super easy and fast to mount and unmount bikes.
