I cut my stock antenna one inch higher than the roof. If it hits i know it's gunna be too close

I know there's an antenna thread but I might as well ask you which one you got and are you happy with it? Maybe save me some surfing time.
I picked my stubby antenna up at the local AutoZone, looks fine to me, not shabby but not exactly a centerpiece either!

there are some low spots at DFW. There are also quite a few low garages downtown.

For me personally, with all of the pricey stuff I want to buy for the truck, spending even 9 bucks at autozone on a freaking stubby seems crazy.

I pulled the ball off the end of my stock antenna, measured it to 1/2" above roof height, hit it with an angle grinder to chop, reinstalled ball, then hit it with rustoleum ultra flat black that I had laying around. now, like many others, i know for sure if the garage is too low for the truck.

In total it cost me $.02 in spray paint.
