10/14 ford forced the delete option code down to vehicles where the dealer did not manually amend, last week my order showed an error this week it’s clean again (still unscheduled)
To an extent that makes sense... as they just produce vehicles... they informed dealers of commodity issues and its affect on orders, builds, etc. and requested actions to keep things moving. Ford doesn't want to overreach on unscheduled retail orders coming from dealers even if they stated a deadline to add the delete option. Not fun for anyone... what is the true compromise here.
No sir. Got to have it! My other thoughts were; spray in BL is a must and is also still there on sticker as an external accessory. Have an out there if poses a problem and I get impatient if it holds things up. No need for beadlock wheel option going aftermarket, plus cheaper. Not into the carbon fiber or graphics options. Wanted tailgate step and power tailgate but no moonroof... so tossed that and the blue recaro packages. Decided against foldable storage and engine block heater options also. Had AG previously... so ended up CO over all other paint options. Allocation did not include commodities for 37 or R packages. It was a super unique, well timed circumstance that got me to this place with this order. But also helps that I have been thru this three times before with other specialty vehicles. I hope the best for others here... my feel8ng is if your scheduled they are aware of restraints and if they were concerned about an order being produced to just sit because of a restraint... they would not schedule. So if scheduled... unless something became apparent after... your in a decent place with your timeline still.
