I was recommended to look into The Diesel Cartel in Pompano a few years back.
They posted on their instagram they've done some Raptor suspension work/various mods.

Now, how good they were at installing/price, I can't say.

For those running little weight in bed (if at all) it appears the Icon are better. Deavers are better for load bearing rigs.

So I got quoted $800-1000 for install, reputable shop, that a decent price? It seems steep but then again, what do I know :)

That seems about fair for shop price. I installed my Icon's by myself and took a couple of tools, not complicated just a little cumbersome at times

I was quoted $800, which sounded about right. Then they said they'd have to drop the fuel tank. That told me that they'd never done this before. I then decided to do myself. Well....with @Gumby and @mwaite09

Well....not so much with as much as I helped.......I handed wrenches and sockets to them... I lifted a little! Big THANKS again guys!

You do not have to drop the fuel tank. You can use a Sawzall to cut off the bolt on the driver's side between the leaf spring and fuel tank. Then install it from the outside when you put it back in. Deaver includes an extra bolt for this purpose. Saves you a lot of time.

Same for Icon, bolt included. THAT is why I knew that they had never done one before. Dropping tank is unnecessary.
