I think your probably about right on the Deavers, but I think the stockers weigh more than 30-40 lbs. I still have mine is my garage and have had to move them around once in a while. They feel a lot heavier than that. I would guess more like 60-70 lbs. They are surprisingly heavier than they look.

Could you take your bathroom scale out to the garage and weigh one for me please!

Thanks!

if a stock raptor already drives soft like a cadillac with the factory rear leaves (i am coming from a lowered car on stiff coilovers), then will deavers feel like i am riding on clouds and the ride gets even better?? talking about street ride quality of course..i know deavers will outperform offroad better than stock leaves anyday of the week

The ride is improved on and off road. Some of the jarring you feel on potholes and such are mellowed out, they're well worth it.

Everyday daily street driving is a huge improvement. the backend doesnt wallow around on ****** potholed and cracked up roads. Being able to mash on the skinny pedal and no wheel hop is a nice thing too.

As much as I do like my Deavers and feel improvements, I do have to admit that I still get plenty of wheels hop. It's maybe slightly better than with stock leafs, but not too much different IMO.

Thats pretty wierd that we would have such different reactions to the same modifacation. On stock springs wheel hop was crazy with 55k mile shocks, fresh rebuilt shocks wasnt until i put the +2 on did it go away. It was literally like the back end of the truck was twerking and its not like im boosted or have any extra power like some others.
