A few things for install, whichI didnt find on any posts.
1. Cut off bolt in front spring holder, no need to remove tank.
2. Remove rear shackle for easier install.
3. SDHQ bump plate, has a plate to install on top of leafs, before you mount U bolts.
4. Deavers are ****** heavy, need 2 guys.
5. Amsoil anticorrosive paint first.
6. About 4 hrs to complete.
7. Torque all bolts, front bolt is 250 ft lbs. Thats a nut buster.
8. Results, level truck and improved ride.
9. Next up towing.

Did you add the Deaver rear springs for towing or are you planning to do something else on top of them? i.e. Helper springs, active suspension, etc.

Also, did you get the standard Deaver or the HD model?

Bought for towing and improved ride, yes +2 plus HD. No other plans for towing. I tow around 7k total, besides the sag truck tows fine.

I am adding the Deaver +3s, but I plan to use the standard version, instead of the HDs. My installer said we can go back and add an additional leaf later if I find they are sagging too much. He said the ride quality will suffer slightly with the HDs, so I wanted to try the standard ones first.

Let me know how the HDs handle your 7K towing weight.

Did you get an alignment after?

You only need an alignment when you change the height of the front. The Deaver +2s keep the factory height in the rear and do not change the height of the front.

Looks good!

I ordered the same springs yesterday, how do you like them so far?

Did you do anything to the front?
