At least you’re doing it right! I wish I had a sandblaster at home and a lift, lol.

I tried to sandblast, it is my go to, but the sticky, gooey stuff required 36 grit on a die grinder. It was very tough to remove, Im stoked to be through one now...

I find this disproportionately pleasing for some reason. Pride in the ride, functional, looks great.
Anyone know if the center pins are special or what specs they might be?

Thanks for the photo of the spring pack disassembled. I have had mine in the garage about a year+ now. Appears prep work before install is a good idea. One upping the thread with application of Low friction UHMW tape after paint. https://www.mcmaster.com/76445A725/ Owners of different off road vehicles claim the UHMW tape works great.

Sorry for lagging..I need some time to give a research analysis for the actual numbers...I get better results with the 7 inch shackles...remember that I don't have traction bars...lol

I can't give you a number due to the fact that I installed both the plus 4 s and shackles at the same time. I would speculate 1.5 inch drop. My truck lifted 1 inch in the rear with the plus 4s and shackles combined. Very happy with the result. Truck is transformed into beast mode 5. Lol..
