good point you probably lose more on a 19 just driving it off the lot. I heard the hold back is about $1500. so in theory if you got it a 7% under MSRP less the holdback the dealer makes nothing ?

Ford is offering rebates to dealers to help them move 2019 models. There are dealers advertising 10%+ below MSRP ($7k+ off) on their websites.

Some of these rebates seem to be tied to financing through FMC while others seem to be tied to trading in a Ford vehicle.

Yes.

For example my 802a msrp was right about 72,500. Invoice was close to 67500, holdback was just over 2100. I paid invoice less holdback +200. Or close to 65600. This isnt exact as I dont remember the exact dollars, but is very close, might be off $150.

Point is they made $200 of hold back, $199 doc fee, and a $300 flat from bofa for the finance contract as I was preapproved online with bofa before I came in, so my rate was all ready locked in by the preapproval I'd obtained so they couldn't manipulate it.

Skinny deal, but they got rid of a 2019 that had not gotten to their lot yet with 2020s due to be ordered within two months of my purchase.

7% off msrp - hold back would yield you true dealer cost as stated in an earlier thread. Depends a bit on the series 802a 801a, etc, but it gets you very close and it was true on my 802a.

They also get my service business and have gotten two referrals for sales, so they gained this by making the skinny deal also and I've since bought a tonneau cover and spray in liner from them.

Sometimes you have to remind a dealer that their profit only starts with the sale of the vehicle. Much more $ in accessories and service.

Would be interesting if they apply to Raptors. When we were a dealer, those incentives never applied to specialty vehicles like raptors, certain limited production mustangs, etc.

If you buy a loaded 802a at invoice less hold back youd be at approx $7000 off msrp or 9.7% off. This is how I bought mine except they kept $200 of the hold back so I got approx. 9.3% off.

Technically though it's a new truck still, a 2019 is now a 1 year old model and in a kbb or nada value has taken a big hit. Dealers should be selling the truck way back into the hold back now to get rid of it. If you pay more than that you are overpaying.

Mark Up(diff between msrp and true dealer invoice from ford) on a 802a is approx $4500 and the 3% dealer hold back is approx $2500. So with no dealer add ons you should be paying $6000 or more below invoice or you are not getting a good deal on a 2019 now. At this point they should want them off of their lots and should be pricing the trucks well into their holdbacks now.

There are enough of these built that they are not the novelty they once were and with no incentives from Ford, it will be up to the dealers to give up profit to entice one to buy a 2019 instead of a 2020 at this point.
How much off MSRP for a 19 would be worth it?? In your opinion?

The only option I really want is the 802 a package that puts me at about $67,000… So a $7000 discount is about a 10 or 11% discount…

has anyone got any good deals on a 2019? I saw some threads where they were looking at $10,000 off which is like 15% discount

What is the best deal I could expect to find?

Got mine for $67k, sticker was $74,900. Everything (including Recaros) but the graphics.
