My truck was 76k. I got it for 68k after negotiating. But they did the whole finance thru us thing as the kicker. Like u I was pre-approved thru my credit union at a much lower rate. So I just did the deal. Made a payment then refinanced with my credit union. It is a double hit to your credit but its not a big hit and I rarely have my credit pulled. So I wasn't too worried.

If you could send me that salesmen's info that would be awesome! That is exactly the type of deal I am looking for and I knew they were out there. Thank you big time!

Well, I think they are kidding themselves, the consumer confidence index is crashing hard, we all know why, Ford knows it, FCA, GM, Toy, Hon, they all know it. Maybe I'm too doom and gloom, but the writing is on the wall, they will have to give these things away to even have a hope they can continue to survive. Remember what happened in 2008, how many Ford and GM dealerships folded up, a lot. so, they are stupid not to take the 63K IMO, they may be losing about 3 to 4 K on it, but it's cash flow they desperately need.
Keep telling yourself that, you will not get a dealership to knock $10k+ off, maybe on a 2019. And that special 0% financing is exempt on the Raptor, GT350, GT500 and Super Dutys. I do not recall Ford folding in 2008 and they didn’t take the bailout. They probably will now if the government does it again.

I bet they would take $65,350 OTD.
My OTD price did include their $197.50 admin fee too.

Send me a PM

I posted what's below in another thread, maybe it could help you also. Many dealers are pulling their heads out of their asses.

I would suggest doing what I did. It cost nothing and takes very little time. I made up an email stating; "I'm in the market for a new Raptor. I have a dealer from out of state that has offered me invoice pricing on a factory ordered Raptor. (Which was true, a dealer "Capitol Ford" in N.C.) I would much rather buy it from a local dealer like you. If you would be open to this, please email me as I am ready to buy. Please don't waste either of our time with anything besides invoice pricing. I have no problem going out of state to pick up my truck if that's what I need to do to get invoice pricing. Thank you for your time."

I sent it out to 6 dealers in my area. Four I never heard back from, one I heard from immediately and went in and ordered my truck the next day in early Feb. A super easy, no ******** deal, I was in and out in an hour. One other dealer contacted me a few days later and was also anxious to sell to me one at invoice. That dealer apologized for his slow response! This is in an area where NO WAY were there deals to be had at the time. Everyone was acting like I should blow them to get down to MSRP!

Sales are coming to a grinding halt, I will be very surprised if someone isn't willing to offer you a killer deal shortly.

Thanks for the idea! I kind of half assed something similar but I like the way you worded it. I will give it a shot. I feel like I'm being pretty reasonable with these dealers but they are definitely making me work for it for some reason.

You're very welcome, I hope it works out for you. I was shocked that it got me an almost instant response from 2 dealers that just wouldn't deal. I ended up with an 802A with everything except sunroof, decals, and beadlock wheels for $67,340 and that includes the $1,595 Dest. & Del. fee. I was real happy with that and I like that I have a local dealer I'm buying from in case there are issues down the road. I think I will get treated a little better by a dealer I purchased from.

Thanks for letting me know the numbers you got. That’s an awesome deal! I would love to have a local dealer I could have a good relationship with. That can change your experience completely with a car manufacturer. I’m hoping to be joining the club sooner than later. Have been driving a craigslist beater for almost 5 years to get in a position to make it happen so I’m pretty excited to say the least!

Did you attach a pic of the old lady to sweeten the deal?

So if you didn’t have beadlocks, graphics, nor a sunroof, MSRP for an 802a SCREW should have been around $69k—I know because I just bought one. I am not sure your deal was that great? Does that price include taxes?
