Doc fee’s. Who paid dealer prep? Another beautiful piece of profit they tend to throw on. I remember the sales man driving mine up from the back and it was still half wrapped in the shipping protective tape. He attempted to tear of the hood plastic before bringing it up and half was still in place. I was like is that the “Dealer Prep” lol

$75 in NY. I am in VA and I bought all 3 of my Raptors in NY. In VA it ranges from $800 to $1200 now.
Glad I'm buying mine in PA then...dealer told me Doc Fees and Registration stuff will be about $600 combined. Not looking forward to that 4.15% VA sales tax though...

because doc fees don't contribute to anything valuable for the customer. An ADM is needed to secure a Raptor so customers can justify the cost. However, the doc fees are just BS.
. Thanks for the laughs.

That might be one of the silliest posts in the history of this forum. ADM creates zero value to the customer and ONLY benefits the dealer.

Alot of dealers use the Doc Fees to establish and cover a minimum commission to the Finance guy in the event he does not sell any backend products and also to offset back office salaries of the folks processing the paperwork. While I agree some of the fees reported are excessive, they are nowhere near the ADMs reported by some buyers here.

Virginia dealers charge high doc fees, like Koons @ $995. Bottom-line: don’t buy cars in (Norther) Virginia.
NoVa feeds the whole State. County stickers and high payments on vehicles don’t happen in Roanoke. lol

Oh my! Don’t forget about county property tax in Loudoun and Fairfax counties (and likely many others). Yep, gotta fund those government bloat projects and mis-management.
