lol, my $500 microwave didn't adjust off NTP. UNACCEPTABLE!

Let's focus our frustrations elsewhere: DST is dumb and we should just permanently switch to "summer" hours. It was all a 1950s marketing gimmick anyway.

Summer hours IS DST. Standard time is when you roll back so DST should be the new Standard and stay that way 365 days a year.

Yeah, I know. That's why I quoted "summer" hours, since there's a lot of confusion behind DST the standard and DST the offset.

But completely agree. DST the offset of UTC should be the new permanent standard, with no more switching twice a year.

I was surprised yesterday that my 2018 didn't auto adjust for daylight savings time. I looked at the settings and setting to GPS time says that it doesn't take into consideration daylight savings time. Am I missing something here?

Some are missing the point. Of course it only take a few seconds to correct. Shouldn’t be necessary and indicative of other possible misses, like the rear tire mud flaps on my vehicle where only the lower attachment screws are installed as none of the upper holes align with each other and was left that way without a fix. It’s a Ford it’s 80k they should be prouder workmanship than that. Just my opinion.

Mine did not adjust to DST. I manually did it. Next morning, it was wrong again. I manually adjusted it again. I see it being a problem when driving across time zones during DST if it it keeps setting the clock wrong.

My 2015 Jeep was able to handle DST as is every auto-set device I own. Weird that Ford can't do it.

Mine falls back to standard time everytime the truck is turned off.
