I was driving to work. Dusting of snow on the road, and the guy behind me fails. I saw it in. y review view mirror and pulled the tape today.

People just dont know how to drive. Period. No sound because I was on a work call.

I dunno, we were all noob's in the snow, even behind the wheel at some point. Some of us were lucky enough to have a knowledgeable teacher to help us out in the beginning, some have to learn through their own private school of hard knocks. He was fortunate enough to learn a lesson here w/out any significant damage to himself nor anyone else. Maybe he'll be smart enough to use that going forward...slow down before hitting the corner next time. Or maybe this will prompt him/her to get a better set of snow, or at least all-season tires. I know when I moved to the Midwest from Houston I had to learn a few lessons myself about driving in the snow/slush. And I saw my share of peeps with the 'it's just snow' attitude who winded up burying themselves and needing a tow to get out. But by paying attention to what I was doing, watching others and a few 'pucker' moments myself (none as bad as this), I'm now reasonably competent, and appropriately cautious and of course have good equipment in the snow.

This. My father taught me on ski trips when he made me drive the minute I got my permit. Had it not been for that, I'd had to fall back on driver's ed. In an area where it never snowed. Having learned once in a classroom to steer into a skid is no substitute for having the family car sideways on a steep two-lane road at age 15. Add a very demanding person who grew up in Minnesota sitting next to you and they become unforgettable learning experiences. Had it not been for that, my first experience with snow would have been as an adult driving my two wheel drive pickup when I moved to Colorado. I darn near piled that thing in a couple of times as it was when I got on ice. I'm sure anyone who saw me thought I was a moron. I was just honing my skills. LOL

When I first left Texas for Colorado I learned about a rear motor and slick snow. Found myself braking and learned about spinning out and rear motors 1963-356
