I disconnected mine (upgraded my system) and if I recall both grills are on one piece under and along bottom windshield. You might have to take off the pillars too.

I can report....yes pull the A-pillars and the speaker grills will pop right out. Mind you the piece that is the speaker grill...runs the entire length across the dash.

You'll really need to bypass the B&O system for any appreciable gains with any aftermarket speaker set. Thanks just the way it is in this truck.

I‘ve done all of that. Just inquiring what, if any, aftermarket speaker will fit there? That’s the question. I get the whole “you don’t need those dash speakers” spill once you upgrade. For sh!ts & giggles, please indulge me…what fits?

Besides, if it’s not worth the trouble, then why purchase custom a-pillars to accommodate a tweeter & mid thus eliminating the mids that’s already in place…the dash? Off the bat, how much a set of custom a-pillars run vs a set of mids…

These drivers with adapters will fit really well. The typical 3-inch midrange does not fit up to our standards, so you will want to stick with a 2.75-inch and under for best fitment.
