I agree with the line-x idea. What are the two "things" on the bumper bar? Tabs for lights or zip ties?

has anyone actually tried it already? I know I wasnt the first to come up with this...

I bought the cans from pepboys to do it myself. I did the same thing to my '92 F-150 bumpers in high school and they turned out pretty cool.

Bumper

The two "things" on the bumper are two pieces of threaded bushing stock that were welded in there to mount the light bar to. There's a pic of it in the lighting section, look for "old school PIAA's".

On our race truck we tried the black painted skid plate thing. Looked absolutely bad-ass when freshly painted, but looked like shit after a race with the paint scratched off. Would be the same I think on the Craptor, too much up-keep.

The bumper is about $2000 and totally customizable to your liking. I have always preferred custom, one off partso to stand out from the crowd. Spirit has been building off-road race trucks since before the Ford Rough Rider days. They know their business and the quality is first rate!

You can P.M. me for their contact info.

Just don't ever hit anyone with it... You'll be in the back seat or front seat, a bumper that high looks great and is not street legal.... I would not want to be you if you hit someone the other sides attorney will have a field day, and your insurance might not cover you... Just something to think about....
