Yes sir. I never really thought about running full E85 just maybe a blend of up to E30 or so. I get a daily dose of 93 here in Texas but I do travel alot with the truck and go to alot of places that 93 is not available. And I hate having to swap tunes at gas stations. So I prefer now to keep the auto octane adjustments in. Happy to hear that you do that.
But now that you say E85 is not an option at all with my setup it has me thinking. If I was to bump some up some port injectors would the stock fuel pump be enough. I do have the JMS Fuelmax boost a pump would that be enough?
I would grab a set of fic 1000cc or id 1050x injectors. The stock Raptor pump is pretty good, about the same as the dw400 so even without a boost max it'll do 550-600 whp. And yes we can still make those work fine on pump gas.
If you are going to do a built motor and all that you'll want to do full e85. That's a lot of money you'll want to take advantage of that motor. E85 on a built motor is going be 150 hp plus over 93 because we can actually push those turbos. If you do 93 it's still going to be limited by the fuel potential and if you didn't do ported heads and all that jazz its not really going to make and power than you could have the stock motor and 93. It'll be a hell of a lot stronger, but you can only do so much with 93 octane on these.
