Makes sense. Thanks
So if a dealership has 5 allocations for a month and a wait list to order with 20 people deep...that doesn't necessarily mean the first 5 people on that list get an order? I can imagine the dealership maybe using 4 of the 5 allocations for orders, and saving 1 for the lot to get more out of it? Theoretically speaking of course

I'm in Socal and have heard the same (15K-20K) ADM! I made some calls and was able to get first in line at a dealership in Arkansas. I don't know why I chose to call Arkansas, but I did. I spoke to the owner and he said he would sell it to me for MSRP. I had mentioned that I needed to finance it so I'm sure that helped. I agreed to a 1K deposit but I do not have to give it until I place my order. Someone on here mentioned Granger Ford in Iowa. I spoke to them last month and they also wanted a 1K deposit but there were 5 people already on their list so I chose to move on. A dealer in Texas told me that he wouldn't be surprised if other dealerships paid ADM just to flip the truck for more ADM which is what went on with the GT500 Golden Ticket. He said it all just comes down to supply and demand. There are dealers out there though so keep trying. I think I made 5 or 6 calls total.I called around,
Apple ford ($15k hahaha),
Couple more dealers asking $5k-$15k ADM on top of MSRP on Gen 3 raptors.
any dealer willing to sell their Gen 3 raptor at MSRP?

Do dealerships get raptors for stock inventory? I was under the assumption its a customer order unit only.I believe that customer orders are generally prioritized for production, and dealers have little or no control over when they receive stock inventory... so it wouldn't make much sense for them to "hold" an allocation for a vehicle to put on the lot.

The gen3 would be my first raptor if I'm lucky. Not entirely sure how the raptor markets work.
The Raptor Connection on Instagram has a current list of dealers selling Gen 3 at MSRP. Hit him up.
I called almost all the dealerships on that list he has and all have confirmed that they sell at MSRP but nothing regarding deposits and/or the need to finance through them. I'm sure some of them will bring that up in the most subtle way possible lol
