Cracked Windshield WTF?

I caught a rock @ snoball, no charge or ill effects w/ StFarm. You can also req they replace with a oem Ford window, your agent just has to get approval.

Well shit, there is a MICRO chip in it right on where the seal is and ford said if there wasnt they would have replaced it. Looks like Ill be getting the insurance to do it.
I just wonder if insurance sends out a windshield repair company or I take it to ford and they pay the bill

ford doesnt do it. go to a windshield replacement shop, or have your insurance company send one out to you.

I replaced a windshield about 8-10 months ago and paid $375 out of pocket for it...deductible is $500. Then about 2 months later I ended up with another crack lol Thankfully the new crack is a small loop low out of site at the bottom of the windshield. Anyhow, now days you can have it replaced at home or work...had my don outside the house.

Almost any automotive glass company can get the Ford windshield with the F-150 logo and install it for you.
