Corroded valve covers

2023 built in December. Picked up at dealer in late December. The valve covers are corroded. Looks like salt. Anyone seen this ?

Does your state use salt on the roads?

I live in Alabama. The only salt around here is on french fries.

You have snow there, yes? What do they spray on the roads?

Very little snow. They don't do anything to the roads except occasionally sand. I have driven the truck only once. No snow, no rain. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this with a new Raptor R. My valve covers are aluminum to answer the plastic v/c response.
