A heads up to guys like me that never did GoFundMe before. If it seems like it gets stuck at the end, and you just see the dots continue to scroll, not all credit cards let you use them for GoFundMe. I tried to use my LL Bean card and it got stuck at the end. It just kept scrolling. I ended up finding out that Bean doesn't let their card be used for this. I went back and used a different card and it flew right through like I expected it to the first time.

So sorry for your loss. Know that your father touched so many lives here on this forum with his welcoming demeanor, his humor and wealth of knowledge that he so willingly shared. I am at a loss for words and I only have known him thru this forum for about a year, yet I felt the genuine person he was. My thoughts are with you and your family through these challenging times.

I almost lost my leg in a motorcycle accident, have been able to recover some and get back to riding. Somehow that conversation came up with him and he was so supportive to me and just in general with his overall support to all new members. He and other OGs like him on this forum are what make it so special! I wish I would have had more time to know him, the great ones are often taken too early from us. Cherish the great memories you have and know you have a family here.

Just catching up, after having been on vacation, on my habit of mostly lurking to find this sad news. My deepest condolences to Jim's family.

I always enjoyed the obligatory Prius pics he provided newbies until they posted their Raptor pic. Even more, I was frequently impressed with his knowledge and advice for members who were having mechanical issues.

A BIG THANKS to @The Car Stereo Company for, once again, leading the efforts to help a member and his/her family. I hope our paths cross someday Noah, as you are clearly a great person of character!
