Boy-that's a surprise- they picked an American built vehicle, usually they are wild about the Japanese vehicles & seem to hate everything that comes from Detroit.

IMO, it's still an ugly vehicle...at least the older ones. Still just doesn't look right. Cadillac's version is much nicer looking.

My wife rolls an 09 Avalanche LTZ...have to say...one sweet ride. I average 16.3 mpg in town!! on the highway I get over 18.5. If I back it down to 65MPH i am near 20mpg. Since it is on a full SUV chassis it rides smooth and with the active suspension it actually handles well. All that said...It has no room in the back seat compared to our Screw cabs. The bed is almost comparable to the 5.5 box on the Screw. It's not the same vehicle.

I like the Ford and my IH... Glad I have the Chebby though. All american iron in this family.
