Confirm order with Ford Performance

Got a call today from my dealer that unless I wanted to wait for a 2022 I needed to eliminate the 37 package from my order. They said they didn't receive enough allocations.

Just curious, when you call and talk to FP what info do they give you about your order?

They can provide info on your build dates and delivery schedule but I don’t believe they have visibility into your truck specs.

they can see vin number if it’s scheduled.

Right, I was asking more so in his specific situation, what does FP show his order as, given that his dealer doesn't have any allocation. Was wondering if FP can still see it in the system and if so what the status is listed as.

I never have called them about anything. They contacted my dealer and my dealer called me. I was on the fence a tad about the blue interior so I'm not too upset about the 37 pack being removed. I had 37s on my 2020 and will just do it again on this one I suppose. I'm just happy to still have a allocation for a new truck.

I had this same exact situation, FP could see my order and said it was unscheduled-clean. The next day the dealer called me and told me that I had to drop the 37s as they didn’t have the allocation. I told them to drop the whole order and got lucky with another dealership and 37s.

I confirmed yesterday that I have a build date of the week of august 16th. How long does it typically take to build until it is shipped to the dealer? I'm trying to figure out how much longer the estimated wait is.

From what I gathered could be 3-4 weeks from actual build date depending on location from DTP.

I don’t think anyone knows what’s going on any more. I was initially told by my dealer rep that I was scheduled for build first week of august and now I called ford performance yesterday and they’re saying I’m schedule for the week of august 16th. I asked my dealer rep to verify and he said to his knowledge it’s still the first week of august lol
