Confirm order with Ford Performance

hate to **** on some of your wheaties, but I spoke to ford performance yesterday as well, and I got the same answer: order was placed on 6/15, it is seen in the system, looks all good, call back in a few weeks for confirmation.

Then my dealer gets a call from Ford this morning, and Ford says sorry, this order won't be going into this first batch of production, they are only building so many 37 packages.

So everyone getting excited that they have a VOC and confirmed with ford performance, maybe lower your expectations a tiny bit.. Until you have a VIN, nothing is set in stone.

We’ve already know the 37 pkg is in short supply as most dealers only got 1-2 allocations or none at all if they were small low total allocation dealer.
However people have already posted in another thread that their order including 37 pkg was scheduled for first week or two of August.

I’m gonna call next week to confirm dates and see if I can get the call teams’ work address. Then send them a handle of the nicest thing I can find on behalf of all of us impatient *****.

Was told last week from one of the guys at FP that mine and my buddies’ builds were showing a color assigned to them. He told us to check back this Thursday as once a color is assigned in the system that’s a sign that it’s moving toward being scheduled. He stated that every 37 he’s seen that’s been cancelled did not have a color assigned to it and was rejected quickly after being received.

Not sure whether I believe that but it’s interesting to note that every time I’ve called prior he’s never mentioned a color when I ask him to confirm my order details.

For those that are waiting on a build date, anyone else hear something similar?

Called this morning to check and see if there was any info on my order that was placed 6/10, Tony took the call and said it was still unscheduled as of this morning. Asked him if he was able to confirm 37pkg on the order but he said they don’t have that info available to them. I’m eagerly waiting to find out since my dealer had 3 orders for 37pkg but only 2 allocations so I’m waiting to see if mine is going to be one of the two. Or if I’ll be waiting for the next round of allocations for my order.

Yeah that’s what I plan on doing in the afternoon. Guess I’ll be waiting until then.

I reached out again - oh because I'm like that - and Tom at FP confirmed build date of AUG 16th and that the truck has a VIN... btw- VINs are only shared by the dealer. Someone here mentioned something about color, which is true - check your DOS-like documents and make sure you have the color code entered (mine is 37 pkg AM Blue) which is coded HX.
