I daily a FiST and drive the Raptor for family trips or towing. During daily drives, it's just me in the car, so something small is convenient. My car has a bunch of performance mods, but not many visual mods. So it still looks relatively stock on the outside, but it's faster than other STs. If you do go for the FiST, I recommend looking for the Recaro seats. I'm 6'2", 200lbs and fit well in them.

I’m 5’9” and 185. I fit in anything. My Africa Twin is a handful though.

I worked for Subaru for 3 years. I’d never buy one.
I stan’d them for 10, starting in 2005 or so. I’m done as well. Even for the BRZ I’d rather a GR86 even though I know they’re the same car.

I daily mine, hell I drive it everywhere. It would be smart to have a commuter car but I just enjoy driving the Raptor. Yes the mpg is horrible, yes parking garages can be tricky, but come on, the smiles per gallon are worth it. I once had to drive my wife’s FX45 while mine was in the shop for lead frame replacement and although her vehicle is nice and sporty, I sooooo missed my truck. Never realized how much I love driving it until twelve years and 275k miles later. Bottom line is you can get all the opinions you can handle here, but it boils down to a couple of factors. First if you can’t afford the gas then that just sucks and I don’t want to offer any advice as that would come across very negative. Second if you can enjoy driving a Prius over a Raptor, then honestly you have bigger problems. Third I recommend you don’t take advice from the internet. And finally fourth piece of advice is drive the Raptor and enjoy!

WRXs are that bad now, huh? I am between a WRX, or an A4. I am also looking at an AWD commuter car. 80 miles each way to work. Not putting that mileage on the Kings...

The WRX has had the engine de powered from 301hp to 273hp I believe cause of head gasket issues. Same engine since the 80s. I’ll stick with Toyota for longevity, FORD cause they took no government money. Choose what will make you happy keep money in your pocket and you off the shoulder of the road.

There are no gas friendly fun cars. Don't entertain op lol.

Comfortable and reliable is what you meant, and that is Toyota/Lexus/Honda. Aight, you're welcome.

Do not show up here with anything German, unless its a Porsche.
Give up those pastel colored sissy cars and get a Lincoln. :p
