Would you do Mag on the Truck if you could do it all over again?

Black and Mag are the 2 colors I can get the best deals on and im cheap so thats a win.

Yes, I would do Magnetic again on a Raptor. On my Gen 1, I painted all of the Raptor trim pieces Tuxedo Black to match the truck because I did not like the black and gray look. With the Magnetic, I did not have to paint any parts to make them match. Here is what it looked like after my build with everything blended:



Recently, I added a flat black roof and stinger hood. They are very subtle, but still noticeable.

Leadfoot is leading.....Been looking at Trucks a lot today, finally had a slow day at work.

Leaning away from Silver. Unless the dealer offers a smoking deal then it will look great, but I doubt they would.

MAG is the safest color IMO, but like I said Ive had 3 cars that color.

Black is the most badass but biggest headache.

Leadfoot...still can't decide if I love it or hate it. Taking the wife Explorer in tomorrow. i know that dealer has a lead foot, Ill spend some time on it. Theres an Autonation that has a pretty basic 802A lead foot that might be the one.

They don't do silver for 2020 so if you want silver you would have to find a leftover 2019.
I like leadfoot but I'm not crazy about how the metallic grey bumpers and flares look on it. If I got leadfoot I'd either have to get the bumpers and flares PTM'd or painted matte black.

I agree with most of what was said here. I was totally torn between leadfoot and magnetic and ended up with magnetic because the dealer gave me the best deal. The magnetic also had more options that I wanted (carbon fiber, bed coating).

I really went back and forth, and in the end, I am glad I got magnetic. I like the way that the bead lock rims and the flares are the same color. That is just me. Many people like the contrast. I know I would have been happy either way. The only reason black was not in the running was because my 07 lariat is black, so I have had (and still have) a black truck for 13 years.

I have a 15' Ruby Red F150 now that I'll be trading....Looks good as a Raptor but Im not really a red guy. My buddies say its an old guy color LOL.
