I’m getting a loud crackle from the passenger side engine area during cold starts. Also during moderate acceleration I’m hearing a fluttering type sound.

Any ideas?

Exhaust leak? Exhaust gasket?
My 2024 raptor R is making the exact same noise. It sounds like a loose baffle in the muffler or something loose inside the exhaust system because I can still hear it when I'm giving it throttle after it being cold. It definitely sounds like internal exhaust not any internal VVT/oil pressure issues at all. I was thinking of that exhaust control valve being the issue possibly. I own an automotive shop so I'm gonna rack it and try to figure out what's going on one of these days.

Check your muffler welds also. All 4 of mine are leaking.

Stupid question but are those water/condensation drains or a defect?
Drains are usually small round holes at the bottom to allow water to drain. Usually just one hole toward the back. Water and exhaust coming from the weld is likely a defect. I'll admit, I'm not an expert. @FordTechOne do you think water leaking from the welds is by design?

Just snapped this pic, I believe this is the drain hole for Raptor muffler:

Water should drip from the drain holes, but not from the welds.
