Cobb without TCM

Looking for just a small power boost. I’m not getting any bolt ons. Is the Cobb (w/OTS maps) worth it, if the most I’ll do is run 93 octane ?

I just got my truck tuned by @GooseTuned (with TCM) and it was worth every penny and more. I’m almost afraid to drive a stock Raptor now for fear of what I’ll think of the truck.

Go to his website and check out the options. You will not regret it, his customer service puts 5 star hotels to shame. I just bought a t shirt and stickers for the first time there just as a small thanks for his work, normally I don’t advertise for anyone, ever.

Datalogging was very easy, and I’ve spent very little time behind a computer during my life. Seriously, a caveman could figure it out if I did.

I know how to do it, I’ve tuned my own cars for years. I just have two small kids and I’d rather spend my limited free time on other things.

I wouldn’t skip on the TCM tune. If the engine tune is considered the best bang for the buck then the TCM is probably the 2nd best bang for the buck. I got both done by Goosetuned. I have taken the tune off before and the truck feels like a total **** without it.

Everyone thinks their tune is the best. I had a cobb stage 2 93 octane tune on my 2019 scab and was getting 0-60 times of 4.46 seconds. I can't imagine goosetune is going to shave that much more time off. I think 4.4 is pretty fast for a truck. That was with a stock mount location mishimoto intercooler. 5star goosetune mpt cobb they will all give you a good result. I chose cobb because their customer service was great. I tried to call 5 star multiple times and couldn't get a hold of anyone.

Mostly idiots but yes... I've had a few tunes and now I have goosetuned. By far the best my truck has felt. I can't really say how much better than a cobb canned tune though, although you do get those if you go with goose. The real difference with goose vs the other guys is that he has you flog the snot out of the truck while logging this way he can really custom tailor the parameters to you specifically.

As to the OP's question about tuning the trans; It is sort of like getting an ****** massage without the happy ending. I mean, sure it's fun and you would never refuse it but it just isn't as good as the whole hog if you will.
