Started stage 2 install yesterday hope to finish today :)

I ordered the AP, downpipes and I have the exhaust bits ordered from spintech to build out the rest of the exhaust with oval tubing.

My truck is currently running the stock tune as I have some noise coming from the top end and I have been getting some whining from the front of the truck since I installed iwe eliminators. Before I take the motor any farther, I want my dealer to give it a once over.

That being said, after my next Baja trip (June), I'm leaning towards having RMB go through my engine, seal the deck, put a mechanical constant velocity oil pump in, their metal pan kit and a few other tricks that they've come up with to really bulletproof the motor.

Rmb motorworks.

in ramsey, nj IIRC.

They are currently building a couple motors for full race that are 4.2L gen2 based.

They seem to be the go-to shop in the industry for ecoboost motors.

I've been watching them on instagram and they are really impressive.

The guy that built my voodoo for me recommended I take a peak at RMB when I approached him about the ecoboost.

Anxiously awaiting some feedback on the Stage 2 w/ IC. How significant are we thinking the difference from Stage 1 will be?

I would be interested in hearing more on options to bulletproof the engine. I will look up RMB and see what they got cookin’

With that said, where is the limit on the transmission gonna be? I have the COBB Stage 1+ installed and my tranny acts angry. I have stage 2 sitting in the garage but plan on taking to dealer first. I think my issue is torque converter related. Hoping for the best.

my only challenge with the trans is that in baja mode, sometimes it holds the gear WAYYYYYYY too long. Next time im out playing, I'm going to try to get used to manually shifting with the paddles.

MY RMB motor is going in as we speak. I went with the 2018 turbos because I was not super impressed with the other options out there. With the cobb stage 2 tune and maybe E85 down the road it should make damn good power and just about be bulletproof.

How much was the motor
