You can run E50 (most of the time) without a HPFP. Very very rarely do some trucks have a hard time running e50.

E50 is a blend of E85 + pump 91oct/93oct. You need to know the "e85" content coming out of the tank (use something like this, https://www.fuel-it.com/ethanol-content-tester/) Once you know that then you can blend a certain amount of 91/93 into the e85

No just need a tune and mix E85 and 91 or 93. HUGE difference.

I might be an isolated case, but I had a hard time with the Fuel-It tester. I picked up this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073HLSVHX/?tag=fordraptorforum-20 and the results were clear as day. Once I knew it tested as E85, I used the spreadsheet Winfield provided for the ratio.

So do you need a new HFPF with E50? How does one arrive at E50 anyway?

No stock pump is good. I run E50 tune just blend it at the pump and go. Around 500hp to rear.

Plus the tune 300 plus ish
And $300.00 to rent the dyno

I ran e30 for a bit before going to e50. It was a very noticeable increase in power/torque over my 91 stage 2 Goose map. Plus you won't have to mix and get fill right off the tap. I would do it in a hot second.
