Build date cutoff was 6/16/22.
Doesnt that more or less confirm a manufacturing defect then? I’m more or less assuming it’s not a recall because many people will just either not hear it or not notice it but that all have the same issue prior to that build date.

The different part numbers indicated that months ago. I do agree however.

It’s not a recall because it’s not safety issue, and not every truck before the build date will have the issue. That is why the dealer needs to use chassis ears to isolate the causal shock(s) per the Service Message.

Those are not the new part numbers that were posted by another member who had the TSB done. He posted the below as far as the new part numbers for the fronts:

Engineering part numbers and Service part numbers are two different things; the ML3V suffix is an engineering part number, so it will not match the parts listed on an RO.

Both rears finally changed. Clunk is totally gone, Funny how it seemed like it was always coming from the front and it was the rears.
