Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I was able to pick up a ‘22 with 37pp sooner than I anticipated. The clunk is there on 37s as well. I thought at first that it might not have been quite as noticeable but it was a very warm day when I picked it up from the dealer. Well today it’s been cloudy and not as warm and the noise/feel is pretty much identical to the ‘21 I had with 35s.

I have just thrown a whole bunch of sh it in the bed of the truck and closed the tonneau cover. Now who knows whats rattling around. Could be kids beach toys, the dogs water bowl or a case of bottled water anytime you jump the railroad tracks. And I try not to drive under 40 as much. Problems and solutions.

Not sure if this has been discussed but could be a loose spare tire under the truck rattling?

Not for me, no way a loose spare tire would cause any feedback in the steering wheel or gas pedal.

Well just a thought. Some folks said that it comes from the rear and sounds like loose gulf ball! Hope it’s resolved sooner than later.

This may be due to a concern with the shock absorbers. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Sections 100-04 and 204-00 to perform the appropriate noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) diagnosis and inspections. If diagnosis leads to a shock absorber, replace only the affected shock absorber(s). Refer to WSM, Sections 204-01B (front) and/or 204-02 (rear).
