So I was able to get my local Ford dealer to replace my rear shocks after bringing up the issue again a year later. They didn't believe me that there was a clunk the first time I asked them to check. Told me it was normal. Since then they've done a few replacements so didn't fight me on it this time around. Wouldn't do the front as they didn't want to have 4 new shocks showing up on a work order all at once. Weird. Said they'll check the fronts later which is a hassle for me to take it back. Truck clunk in the rear seems to be gone though. Front end still feels loose over some bumps. Definitely will have them check that out next time.

A new issue though is both rear solenoids buzz now after changing shock modes and shutting off the truck. Sometimes this is quite loud. Assuming this needs a hardware fix? So now I get to see it back for that.

Truck should be nearing completion of all four shocks today. My next question would be shouldn’t the dealership and tech team know to reset the shocks back to zero with the VDM?

Yep! confirmed in the FDRS with the head tech and service advisor. The truck rides like it should and they installed eibach pro lift as well. It drives better than it did when I first got from Dealer new

That whole “jump on the bed up and down” clunk that i still have even with my new shocks doesn’t seem to be coming from the shocks or suspension. It’s actually really hard to nail down where its coming from but with someone helping me by jumping up and down on the rear bumper i almost felt like it was something between the bed and the frame making that noise. Shocks made the TINIEST squeak from the rubber bushing but that’s 100% expected and normal.

Don’t forget to air it down. Dealer had all 4 of mine at 40psi. Took it down to 34psi hot.
