So I zip tied that damper down to be rock solid, and I bungied the parking brake cables up tight since I thought they might be the source as well, and no dice. Still hear the clunking rattle. Does it the most at 1-15 mph. Over that and it goes away. I got under the truck while it was on my buddies hoist and banged on everything I could reach with my rubber mallet, and poked with the handle too, and I cannot find any source of that damn noise. Maybe have to cough up $150 to have a dealer investigate for me.
