Day #3 48Hrs Average Temperature here is 50 to 75 Humidity like 39%

The Amsoil, ACF 50, Boeshield, Eezox and Fluid Film are untouched at this point. The white marks you see are salt just laying there. The Amsoil seems to have the most. And yes the salt in the solution bottle is dissolved, my first thoughts also.

Amazing results when the Boeshield and Fluid Film did so poorly in the first test. Seems like sun light, heat and rain really burn the product off. This makes me wonder what the engine heat would do. I think the same as the sun, wear down the product.

The LPS is starting to rust at the bottom right hand corner. As you can see the bare metal is winning for most rust.

Day #5 96 Hrs, Average Temperature here is 50 to 75, Humidity like 37%

Not much has changed, the rusting ones keep rusting, but slowly, the others are not forming rust. I think the cold weather really has allot to do with this. Thats good news for the guys in the colder states. Heat seems to break down the products in the last test. This test seems like it will be way longer then the first one. No help from mother nature.

I think we will do this every few days instead of every day.

Ok update on the Mphd. Before the snowball I recoated the underside of my rap. Ran 4000 miles round trip. Thru salt and snow freezing weather. Got home went to the car wash and hosed the underside down and washed the outside. I figured it would take a lot of work to clean all the salt and grime from the underside and it would never look the same. All I can say is wow, I am amazed. It cleaned up real nice. Like it never got dirty. All I can say is it was worth the time and money for sure.tumarubu.jpg

No problem Chris, That stuff is awesome. It's like nothing sticks to it. I even coated my shocks real heavy, figured they may rust. Just took some mineral spirits and cleaned the Mphd off of them and they look like new again. Great product.

I agree, if you look at the latest pictures, look at the salt just sit on the steel coated with MPHD. Soon it is going to look like a fresh snow on there, there will be no steel to see.

Speaking of the latest pics, the LPS3 looks almost clear without a sticky textured film, would that be accurate with seeing or feeling it in person? I ask because in my testing it seemed much different when applied. I will post my final results as soon as the sniw melts off the test pieces I have laying out.
