The point of this thread is to share the woes and journey of moving into a 14’ Raptor. Mostly it’s for the ***** and giggles as I investigate the previous owners shenanigans while documenting my ill advised journey.

It’s worth mentioning I’m not a “truck guy”, I’m an automotive enthusiast. My vehicle career is deep into the 40’s and growing.

Sherlock Holmes away and bring back your findings. Let's see what the previous owner was able to f$&k up in 58k miles. I'm sure I've done worse with less in my Honda Civic days. Looks pretty good/stock in the pictures so far.
And welcome to FRF! I'm not a truck guy either, I just like sitting up higher than most so I can see who my copenhagen lands on...

Bought a ‘14 as well. Many woes have been had, from my own ignorance, and previous owners as well.

Many great times have been had too. This place is a gold mine of information.

On my ‘22 I had the transmission reflashed three times, FoMoCo installed 2/4 tires that couldn’t be balanced, and the drivers side window control failed leaving all cab windows down.

Congrats on the new to you Raptor! I Bought a used 2014 with 21,800 miles on it last year. So far, it's been an amazing truck and I won't ever be without a Raptor from here on out.
