chrome vinyl wrap

hey guys ive had this idea in my head for awhile when i saw a bmw M3 wrapped in chrome. i was wondering what your thoughts and opinions are on this matter?

Not my style, personally think it would be dangerous on road with other drivers. But hey, if it's legal and you've got the money.

No. Never! Maybe on a Yamaha Raptor 700 for the dunes. I've seen some chromed out Banshees that didn't look to bad. Way less surface area. Just my opinion.

It could look good on a raptor. I considered it. It would be fine for a street truck, but would never hold up off road. I saw a car wrapped in chrome and it had light scratches on it. The chrome does not seem to be durable. It was also covered in water spots. Looks very hard to keep clean.

Check out 3M's brushed aluminum vinyl. I used the brushed steel and it is great! Easy to clean and does not scratch too easily.

It would looks strange, but talk to Chris at Design N Signs, they did a chrome Yukon / Tahoe a couple months ago. Feedback was that is was $$$$$$$ just for material and labor is costly because the chrome vinyl damages easy

I am not a big fan of bright loud colors like chromes, yellows, oranges, ect but I drive pass an aston martin dealership 3x a week and they have a matte orange Vanquish out front that just looks killer. And guess what? ... 3m 1080 has a matte orange wrap. Someone needs to wrap a raptor in this color:
