Lol you're "that guy" huh? Yea sure, maybe on the regular run of the mill cars, but when it comes to a speciality vehicle, no.

The first raptor I was about to purchase was a red one. The dealer had it for a couple of MONTHS.

The second dealer had a handful of black raptors that they have not been able to sell.

The same dealer had a used RED 2013 SCrew that they had been sitting on for a month.

Terrain- there were only a handful of Terrain Raptors for sale (New) in Texas at the time of delivery on mine.

A dealership by me had 2 Terrain, 1 new - 1 used, that came in within a couple days of each other and sold within 3 days...

No offense to any other raptor owners out there, I do like the black, red, blue, white.

But I still think when it comes to a speciality vehicle, people that want a unique color will look at the terrain (if they like it- love or hate color, I'll give you that).

Here's a newer one, I forgot that history for you started yesterday.

You forget to take into consideration that out of the millions of cars sold each year in the United States, Raptors account for less than .001%.

I know we are both biased due to our choices in color- but come on. You can't expect to gauge Raptor Resell Value based off a study that encompasses ALL cars sold in the US! Government fleet cars- white/black, Toyota Camry / Honda Accords - which are mostly white, black, or silver.

I agree Terrain is a better color for you in Texas, a lot easier to keep clean there. Black is better for So Cal, we don't have weather.

News flash most BMW, Mercedes and Range Rovers are shades of Black, Gray, Silver and White. Colors very uncommon. Dealers order what sells.

Do like the black, especially with the decals. For me it's too run of the mill. Terrain is a bit more edgy. Oh did I mention it matches most of my FDE weapons?

At the end of the day- I don't think any of us Raptor owners will have to worry about resell/ depreciation. That is, of course, unless you have a bent frame...

Congrats on the final color choice!! I had the exact same problem - I waited and ordered mine too and wasn't in a hurry, so I fretted over it for months!! I think the Raptors look great in all colors, just different! I made my final color choice, 3 different times...and then finally made the last final choice of silver and stuck with it! I've been super happy with it, and am always amazed how many compliments I get on the truck, but I think that'd be the case w/any of the Raptor colors!! They're all really bad-ass looking truck! Congrats again and shoot us some photos when it arrives!!
