Looking for thoughts on what all I should do before I tear into the heads.
2014 118k, 2 weeks out of extended warranty, history of engine overheating at 60k about 3 years ago when radiator went out. Last week, just 3 days after I changed the oil and filter noticed an oil spot of driveway by driver's front tire...

This is what I pulled out of the overflow/fill reservoir...some great chocolate shake action.

No signs of water in oil (dipstick, fill cap, or when oil filter was removed) but oil level was high on dipstick by about 1" from where I think it should have been when I changed the oil. On the coolant side the reservoir and the thermostat housing were the worst but the radiator and lower radiator hose hose had more of a mix of coolant with oil spots. Engine runs fine, no white smoke out of tail pipe.
Hoping for the simplest cause/fix I replaced the oil filter cooler. After 3 flushes (so far) it doesn't look promising (first flush was actually more clear than 2nd and 3rd...left to right)

Maybe will try a few more flushes (ran out of time tonight) and then off to compression checks and scope the cylinders. Any other ideas or tell-tale giveaways on what has failed?
Thanks in advance!
