I would've done the schaumburg deal. No GPS for me and map quest has sent me in the wrong direction before lol. But I can give it a go.

There is a ON THE BORDER mexican chain there to close by right off Milwaukee that the food and drink are pretty good for the price. Might make it a little more kid freindly. Not many ******* bouncing around there. Just a thought. and there is a movie theater parking lot right behind it, might be a good place to put all of the trucks for a showing.

Also said he might be able to get some other classics from his car club to meet up with us. Also suggested taking everyone down to rush street...

I'm up for anything. On the border is fine. I'd probably prefer the food there over the Kilt. Let's still plan on the 15th in Vernon Hill and we'll finalize details as we get close. Any yes, even Chevy's are welcome!

Ok, the 15th sounds good, the food there is not bad and prolly a better price then the Kilt. I will wear a low cut shirt for you all who are dissappointed that we are not going there. just thought the big parking lot behind it would be good for showing the trucks. Place-Tilted Kilt-Vernon Hills, IL Google Maps


We'll hang out for an hour or so, check out the rigs, take some pics and then head in for lunch. If we have a big turnout, I'll call ahead and let them know we're coming.

Greg, if you're coming up on Saturday just for this, I'd be willing to make this a dinner so you don't have to leave so early in the AM.

Thanks for the effort on this meet and greet. I will do my best for this date. Vernon Hills is very close for me so should not be an issue. Isnt the Tilted Kilt kind of like a *******. How is the food.

Yes, its like *******...Food...who cares, its all about the *******..Ha ha.

Actually, the food is decent, burger and wings............and *******...

The place has a nice big parking lot which will be perfect for us too.

On the Border is a Mexican place and its literally right across the street from the Tilted Kilt.

Personally, I prefer boobs to Tacos, but I'm up for either.

I'm up for either. Let's meet at ON THE BORDER and if we're all in the mood for jugs, we can go across the street to the Kilt and convince ourselves they really do like us and want to go home with us!



So, as of now, meet at ON THE BORDER in Vernon Hills at 1030 hours. We'll call an audible if need be to go stare at some hoots if we feel the need.
