Check Locking diff error

First off just want to say that I absolutely love my 2018 raptor. The turbo sounds and performance are amazing plus getting better mpg then my wife’s 4Runner TRD PRO is crazy great! Buttttttt

Today driving home I got a yellow wrench thrown in the mix. “Check locking differential, check 4x4” when I try to go into the different modes it’s states “terrain management system fault”. And turning the dial into different 4x4 it doesn’t go.. stays 2WD. I only have 15k miles on it.

Has anyone else had this issue?? I did a search and only saw one post back in 2017 and no one replied. I’m going to the dealer tomorrow so we will see. Any advice or experience in this situation would be much appreciated!

It's part of the Raptor mystique.

I wouldn't worry about unless it comes back.

It most likely has no history recorded to help the dealer...if it happens again take a few photos of the error messages and get it to the dealer asap so they can diagnose...

I took video and pictures haha. I only trust a dealership when wanting a good laugh (disclosure not all dealerships are bad)

Stop by and have them pull the codes. Should be in memory still

That happened to me this weekend. Ended up being a broken wire.

My live valve wires and break lines were just dangling. Didn’t run over anything as far as I can remember either
